
Amanda Mei
Amanda Mei is a recent graduate from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) with a Master of Arts degree in International Relations & International Economics. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Yale University. Currently, she is interning for The Oracle Institute based at the Peace Pentagon in Independence, Virginia, and the Millennium Project based in Washington, DC.
Amanda has researched international affairs, sustainability, energy development, and intentional communities, as well as foreign policy, US-China relations, and other environmental issues. She has work and research experience at the SAIS Foreign Policy Institute in Washington, D.C., and global think tanks including the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center, Wilson Center, and East-West Center.
At Oracle, Amanda coordinates social media and maintains website updates, and assists in fundraising and other efforts. She also is assisting the Peace Pentagon grow as a think-tank on geo-political issues and socio-spiritual trends. In addition, Amanda has visited intentional communities around the world — including Damanhur and the Valley of Light at Oracle Campus. She practices yoga and meditation, volunteers, and speaks 5 different languages.
